Traditional Medicines for Sprue


Thrush or stomatitis is an inflammation that occurs in the oral mucosa, usually a yellowish-white spots. Patches that can be either single spots or groups. Thrush can affect the mucous membranes of the inner cheek, inner lip, tongue, gums, and palate in the oral cavity. Although not classified as dangerous, but canker sores are very disturbing.


Thrush can be caused by the condition of the mouth itself, such as poor oral hygiene, fitting dentures, mouth sores due to food or drink that is too hot, and the condition of the body, such as any allergies or infection.

Plants that are efficacious for treating canker sores are as follows:

1. Guava leaf

Boil in 1 quart of water: 1 handful of fresh guava leaves and bark a finger. Strain the stew and drinking water a day 2 times

2. Betel leaf

Pick 1 or 2 pieces of betel leaf. Wash leaves thoroughly and chew until creamed. Let the leaves briefly in the mouth, especially in the affected sprue.

4. Rhizome Meeting Key (Java language: key)

Rhizome key retrieval can dii in the chewing and swallowing. Rhizome slices with nut chewing in addition to cure canker sores can also cure a dry cough.
